Akira first started dancing at age 3 with ColourCity, doing Ballet until eventually moving on to Jazz where she really found her passion for dance. By age 9 Akira was training in Jazz and Contemporary with Sams Dance Studio which she would go on to train with for 5 years.

 

 By age 13 Akira had moved to the Philippines for a year where she joined her first crew Allstar Aurora, she went on to study all different types of dance such as traditional Filipino dances, ballroom and all different styles of hiphop. By 14 Akira had moved back to Australia to study Ballroom and Latin with Humphreys Dance studio for 2 years before moving onto Modern dance with Dance Theatre of Orange and now is dancing with Doves and Dimes as a senior crew member.
